New member 811d advice parts

Hi , I’d like to introduce myself. Steve, I have a Mercedes 811d. It’s a coach built horsebox- 7.5 tonne. wanting to convert to an off the grid camper. My question is where would I get a bonnet from ? Are there specialist breakers. I’ve done the eBay anf Google thing but cant see any obvious suppliers of used parts. Advice would be appreciated thanks steve

Unfortunately they stopped building the vairo trucks in 2013 & the pre vario model in 2000 ?
Rust is a killer for them & the bonnet front edge along with all the lower seals and all seems tend to be the worse areas for rust
So finding one is very difficult even harder finding a good one!
There’s a company called cab masters who did have a few complete front ends but would only sell them as complete lot.
Such a shame as they really are fantastic trucks.. the chassis, engine and drive train is bulletproof but rust in the body is terrible…
