lithium ion battery box

Hi folks. I now have the siderails and side-locker re-attached to my revoery lorry-to-motorhome conversion. The lovely lockable aluminium box that used to hold the ratchet-straps etc in seems like a good place to mount the 200ah lithium ion battery and DC toDC charger we want to use. If I vent the box, how much clearnce do I need to leave around the battery? I've seen confliciting advice on the internet so far that ranges from none to 100mm.

Thanks/Diolch

Dont think liths require venting but a little gap to prevent over heating may be a good idea, also remember on you build never let alloy near steel as galvanic corrsion will eat the alloy away, do use some for of insulator between the too.
Put some holes in the battery box to let air flow around the unit.

Thanks for the reminder! I'm such a scatter brain, I'd likely have forgotten as a result of my enthusiasm to get it done! I think the problem is even worse with stainless steel.

Thanks again.
