I was more looking for inspiration from someone who has done it, but sadly and it's hard to imagine that maybe the posts on this sight are beyond the intellectual level of most and this keeps people away. Or they think we post a load of Boll...… Rubbish ;)

Edit. Sorry this was meant to be tongue in cheek, there was no intension to offend. If a moderator would like to remove this it might be for the best.
Ha ha, I must have had my sensitive head on when I read your original post 😁 , sorry...

No need to delete. I’m sure we’re still friends👍

Looking at that Pic you could probably fit linear actuators if you aren’t stuck on hydraulic. I only posted the link as they probably supply parts for self fit and if so they may also give advice.

they certainly have suspension on busses and coaches now that drop entrances to floor level for wheelchair access, the link I posted did this as well. The dropping down isn’t a no return valve in the pump is it if everything else has been done?

from what I have read with Sprinters you need main dealers to turn bits on and off and it’s expensive but there must be others that do it. Is there a forum for folks modifying your make and model or even other coaches, they may have someone who has done it. I think you will be the pioneer here for this lol.

There is some posts on various sites a few years back with someone's vario air suspension messing around. After lots of money spent they "fixed" it by removing the electronic height sensors. Mercedes were claiming the air suspension was after market. I have the Mercedes build sheet for mine and all the fancy bits are Mercedes fit even if they didn't make them. I had an engine remanufacturing business a long time ago, and though many of my garage customers had competent fitters very few were with diagnostics. It gets even harder with auto electronics. I had an old Volvo with odd fuelling problems. It was not until a specialist acquired the loan of a Volvo diagnostic box the problem was found. Fuel pump shut off valve. I stripped the valve and found a small piece of filter paper in it!
In Wiltshire I probably could have gone into a dealership and asked who was the expert on this stuff. Up here I have a good parts man, but no workshop relationships.

First coat of rust primer, I did intend to have these fitted this weekend. At least it’s progress. Still have to purchase some rams and a power pack.

As you are lifting the chassis, presuming the body will sag (might not) how are the determining when level, just communicating with the co pilot?

The body is extremely well attached to the chassis, it has to be by law. There will be no sag. It has air suspension on the back and it does have a habit of deflating. So if parked for any amount of time the legs are to hold it. Though I expect they'll lift it. Any levelling will be done by eye and argument! Each ram will have a simple push button control.

How about ..... having a little mercury switch (or a more modern equivalent?) at each corner, with a circuit going through them to light an LED when level which can tell you when to stop?

This thread reminded me I need to have a look at my levellers ... apparently never been used so likely seized up?

I think I saw something once that attaches to a RPI along the levelling lines, but for now I'll be just happy for it to work.
Even getting it MOT worthy will be an achievement.

Any use?

This is the problem with the horrible vehicle, it’s very hard to jack up the rear end. You need a long and low trolley jack. Even putting pads under the jacking legs will be fun.
