:bow:wow!
Opened the link expecting to see 'an ambulance conversion', but the van looks very professional
Really like the side sliding door, and think it could/should be standard on motorhomes unless insulating the door is the reason why there are not other factory models with them!??
How did you fill in the back door area?
Very impressed, you should be proud of your creation.

VERY impressive, if you hadn't said it was an ambulance, I'd never have known! Loved your upholstery bits, made it look really professional! Are you going to go into the van conversion business now, - or just enjoy it??

The rear was covered with the back moulding from a Swift 480 with a bit of modification to accommodate the ambulance taper. Sliding door is standard on these bodies. All Ford Transit running gear.

LOL. In fact I am coming out of that sort of business. I used to own and manufacture a trailer business. A lot of what I designed and made were bespoke hospitality, catering, and other specialist units. I sold that business 6 years ago.

I am doing a 60' barge ATM then I think I will do a bigger MH maybe starting next spring.

Excellent conversion. Looks brilliant

Is the water heater an instant one?

Good job! My favourite bit is the back from the donor caravan which really makes it look like a pro built motorhome.

Yes its a Morco 6L something. We had on on our Narrowbaot and it was first class giving seriously good showeres at 2 bar so went for the same on the MH and it too is giving excelent performance.

We have navy shows on the MH but never feel cheated.

Excellent self build. Can you share some interior photos?

Yes I will. I was at a recent meet for self builds. A writer for a national magazine is doing an artical on the conversion and wants me to do some interiour shots. I have the promise of a wide angle lens for my SLR so will make them public ASAP.

In the meantime have a look at the blog. Kev's Kamper Konversion Kaper some shots there.
