Dashboard Done - I think

As everyone who works on older vehicles knows, there's always more to do. With a lot of help from my son Lachlann and his 3D Printing skills as mentioned here, the Dash in the Merc is pretty finished.
The rocker switches are for accessories and wired to their own fuses on a separate vehicle circuit, I could have used the fuseboard under the drivers seat but decided against it due to more cable being needed and it being even more of a faff for cable runs.
If needed for high draw appliances then will look at maybe moving things around as will then need to incorporate relay systems as well
We replaced the blower for the heater / de-mister and now it works but will only blow on high, still need to sort that out !!

This is what was done:
  • Dash stripped at front and cleaned
  • Heater controls sorted as far as we could
  • New 12V Socket installed
  • 5V Sockets added
  • New Head Unit which was made to fit with the aid of some JB Weld Plastic Putty, brilliant stuff !
  • New Steering Wheel Cover
  • New Gaitor for Gear Stick
  • Ashtray draw dismantled and repaired as far as we could, all the crap taken out of it, nothing interesting sadly.
  • Voltmeter Added
  • Internal and External Temperature gauges added
Thanks for Reading :)
