condensation

Mad Manx

I am full-timing at the moment and having terrible problems with condensation in the corners of my Luton head bunk.
I have king-spanned the ceiling with 1 inch king-span and just put therma-wrap up as well but I am still getting damp and along the ridges where I've pop riveted the ceiling boards back !
Is their anymore i can do other than ventilate and wipe down??

sounds like you might be getting a 'cold bridge' across the rivets, and of course the luton is where all the cooking and breathing moisture collect.i take it the rivets are going into hollow ribs, you can drill holes at intervals and squirt in expanding foam, use dustsheets it gets everywhere, and is the kingspan glued to the outer surface ,if there's a gap it could cause condensation

Could you add a layer of camping mat foam over the surfaces of the over-cab section?

I'm guessing that the other issue is that its probably a dead space in terms of air circulation - can you do anything to ventilate the area at all?
