"Smart" or eco mode inverters will sit in a low consumption stand by mode ...
Until something demands mains current (like the fridge compressor starting up )

Just minimises power consumption when not needed .

I'd be amazed if not gobsmacked IF that came anywhere near of its claimed specs I'm afraid .

I got my 600w soft start for 50 bucks, all depends on how much power you require.

An inverter for a fridge needs to be a pure sinewave one. I have a (bloody expensive) 90l 12v compressor fridge from Thetford on my van and complemented with a 22l fridge/freezer from Amazon like this one: https://amzn.eu/d/7QWyXHp I now have ice cream and other frozen foods I could not store in the main fridge.

I agree with you oh learned one 100%.

Generally speaking we will always ignore any eBay item where the seller has lower than 99% seller rating and this seller doesn't!

Furthermore this seller isn't a specialist and appears to sell an exceptionally wide range of products!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fingers burned many times in my early days buying LED torches for exploring old mines ....

Chinese lumens don't equal real lumens !

Same with Chinese Watts, amps, etc etc lol

I purchased a 12 volt Fridge/Freezer for my time in a tent. They are so much better than they used to be.
Now it can be used for days out keeping things cool in Anita's little Vito Van.

We started with a 40l Waeco fridge freezer ...in the transit I built ...
Then moved that into the motorhome when we bought it to use as a beer fridge/freezer for longer trips ....

Then I got fed up with the pfaff of the 3 way absorbtion antique (belongs with gas lights and mantle IMHO )

Swapped that for a 240v undercounter and Victron inverter ...

Total game changer ....it round 24/7 for most of the year from 400w of solar
3 x 100ah agm batteries and a ring b2b .

We could park up without moving or hook up for most of the year and solar has batteries back up to 100% by 9~10 am

It was only after the first few days away in November when the weather turned and we were running the eberspacher 24/7 that the solar wasn't keeping up ...

To be honest most times these days we are on hook up out of season ...
So wasn't an issue ...
BUT cannot say I miss the pfaffy 3 way in the least bit ...
Just sits there loaded with beer etc ready to go .

Dont think mine is p sinewave, seems to work very well as no fancy electronics in a fridge.

Smart inverters give you control and optimization, adjusting as needed to keep things running smoothly, while non-smart inverters just handle the basics. It’s all about efficiency and insight!
