Whilst I would love to have the pro type finish, it's a lot of money. Sure something else can look just as good with a bit of time.

I did break a caravan and sold the chassis.. to be honest I took little from it.. a skylight, and a door and two locker fronts was all! the door and locker fronts are visible in the pics.
I used some of the cabling too, as it was useful colours and long lengths
I still have the fiamma heater thing, I may get that checked and re-use it.. it has a motor on the back and some ducting for blown air heating..
I bought some windows, a sink/hob separately and used those....

yes..It took a while and I didn't really have the time.. sold what I could

We have a fixed 2 metre double bed in the rear of my self build conversion, still leaves 2.5 metres in front of the bed. the bed has a 1 metre high storage area underneath where we keep the toilet generator and Eberspacher fuel tank and lots of other stuff.

Buy a caravan to your own budget this way you will have fridge cooker sink etc all the cabinets pipework and wiring and don't forget a saw.

The only thing with using a caravan as a donor for furniture
and joinery donation is that it can involve a lot of uneconomic
adaptions unless you're lucky or do a lot of searching. If you run short of materials and finishes it can be difficult to match, and near matches can look like very obvious bodgery. Professionally produced joints and mouldings can look a bit out of place alongside a DIY matching attempts
A look at a few self build interior shots on eBay prove the point, I personally
wouldn't want to be looking at some of that handiwork for weeks
on end!

i agree,caravans are no good for furniture, but some people like the doors . the real advantage is the stuff !
