I was over at Bracken bank yesterday and saw one being done on the pavement, didn't have time to stop, but wondered if they were on here.

Never understood why folk without proper workshops atempt such jobs, iv lost count on how many kirbside cowboys atemped to build kit cars on the roadside, only to end up selling after giving up.

I did mine on the drive Trev I had a garage for the Table saw etc but no room to work in there.
Yes you had the tools, I did the same, but many folk forget about all the tools and how to use them, so most give up and sell, thats how i got my van after the tosepot gave up and fooked just about everything he could, had to strip all out to the bare chassis and start all over again, some should not be allowed near tools or anything on wheels.

I'm happy to say mine is still on the road and getting some good miles on it 10 years on, over 250k now it's in Bulgaria right now, it's had a new leisure and starter battery on it but the rest is all working fine even the Carver cascade 2

I have one of then carvers in mine but never wired it up or connected to gas, did not see the point as a big kettle on the hob does the same thing warming water, my loo room has a 12v hand wash unit which holds 8 ltrs of water which is able to give a all over wash at xmas time LOL.
