    Sad Times!!

I hated selling mine too, but Liz was always commenting on the high mileage, so it went. We're planning on doing 6 weeks in France at the end of the month, we need to do more while I'm still up to driving it, I'm okay in the van so far but getting in and out is my problem, I have a scooter to...

    Low loader conversion.

The Sevel cabs used to be delivered as back to back bolted together units with no chassis at all for the variants that were getting the Alco chassis, but a lot also arrived with the Sevel chassis as did ours for the shorter versions, not sure how the "low loader" ones were delivered.

    Low loader conversion.

Of course, I am not a structural engineer and I don't have a chassis cab to inspect so make certain in your own mind that it is safe to proceed

    Low loader conversion.

The cabs are an extra part as they do a chassis cowl for the likes of Swift etc so the whole back is surplus, but you can always put strength in, it's only welding. The low loaders tend to have larger wheel arches in them which would compromise where you can put stuff so you need a plan to work...

    Flexible gas pipe?

As said go like for like and check the date, I don't think they buy a lot so it should be fairly new Ask the seller, if they say it's one date and it isn't they have to pay for it going back as you have asked them, this is recorded by eBay, if you just buy without asking then you may be stuck...

    WTF does "No Mission" mean?

    DVLHey

It's a stupid archaic rule anyway, made when we had the likes of Thames vans etc, with crap tyres brakes steering and suspension, it should be upgraded & brought into the modern era of vans, and if they need to make it vehicle age related

    DVLHey

they passed a law which allows B licence drivers drive non commercial leisure vehicles up to 4250 kg as if they were 3500 kg. Here in Portugal and I suppose, the rest of the EU, Interesting but not sure it applies here in the UK.

    DVLHey

I thought the B licence allowed up to 7,500, or 3,500 depending on the date the test was passed, where does the 4,250 come from?
