I think that unless you live right out in the country with easy access or in a vast manor with plenty of land to park it on your niebours would be a little bit p**t off living next door. Phil

    Squiffy van

Morning Phil, been a bit lazy over the Chrizzy period :giggle:. In all honesty I dont think there is anything I would change other than having opening rear door windows, but at the time it was being built nobody would sell the rear door window kits to the general public, they would only supply...

    Squiffy van

Morning Ken, he's got on very well at the furniture stage, but unfortunately due to work load and new daughter he has had to cease work on it for a while, though he does sleep in it on his four day shift at the airfield. He and his family are up here at the mo, as sods law the clutch has gone on...

Phil that wasn't written by the National tyre council was it by any chance 🤣. In the passed I've had tyres that are ten years old and not shown or had any derogatory situations, though I do agree that after ten years its time to change the van and let others worry about degradation of the tyres...

240AC Electric Hot Water in Campervan

A well deserved bollocking 😊. Your right I should read the whole thread, can't help feeling though that if it was financially viable as you say cheaper than conventional, then many others would be doing it, but for the life of me I have yet to see any adverts that proliferate this sort of...

240AC Electric Hot Water in Campervan

Wildebus, I have great respect for your write up in what your doing and the explanations are very good, but in all honesty the proof is in the pudding as they say, as I have previously stated I have not read the whole thread, but have you used this setup in real anger or is it only really viable...

240AC Electric Hot Water in Campervan

I recently saw a van commercially built that everything was run on 12volt DC, heating, water heating and cooking. I think it was Bosh but can't really remember, what I do remember was it had highly specialised batteries that cost about £4000, let alone the cost of the equipment they ran, all...
