    Water tanks and fabrications

I think his are Trev, he uses up offcuts before he puts the lid on.

    Water tanks and fabrications

I dunno what he charges now, but he does the whole job from cutting the material to fitting it and he gives a warranty too, but even at that rate it's only £100 for a 100 litre tank fitted. Also to consider is the thickness of the tank material, if he's still using the same stuff it was 5 or...

What innovations did you design into your van?

Looks fairly straight forward :) :)

What innovations did you design into your van?

Very nice Phil, they'd be good on bus conversions as they might help with condensation a bit. Do you have any cassette build pictures to share?

I'm sure you all had interesting ideas, maybe time to share them, pictures would help.

Stays for Top Hung Locker Doors

I used these from Magnum, cheap as french fries, just springs inside so nothing to fail, if fitted properly they are also strong enough to keep the locker door closed so no need for a catch. https://magnummotorhomes.co.uk/shop/handles-hinges-catches/door-handles-catches/metal-locker-stay/

If I had a garage to put it in I'd give it serious thought. I wouldn't mind a blast in this either.

I might consider a better quality proper folding one but it's have to go through a hab door and around 25-30kg so I'd have half a chance of lifting it. Right back to charging, I (wrongly) though fully charging it then laying it on it's back and letting it run for a few hours might flatten it...

I've sold it twice but never shown it on here

Why did I sell it twice? it had a good few miles on when we got it, but wimmin being wimmin Liz decided after we'd added another 10k or so it was too high and we should sell it, as I drove for a living I disagreed, but for a quiet life I listed it on eBay, so a bloke from that London bought it...

And the rest, also a link to pictures I took during the build https://www.dropbox.com/sh/yk0myzgzuz1m7n8/AAAOFzs51BoINp100lyH2KVWa?dl=0 under the locker you can see a little black thing, this is a little RF receiver that links a remote to any device connected so it can be...

I've sold it twice but never shown it on here

It took me a long time to build it even though I had the time, but I only wanted to do it once. In no particular order :) :) some of these pictures are just after I'd bought it back and it was in a right mess. I've annotated some of them by way of explanation. More tomorrow.

the kerb was about 1-2'' high and it has very small wheels so I should have just stopped and lifted it up, I've managed others okay and I told them about it. As for the battery, I'm going to try fully charging and fully discharging maybe 6 times to see if it helps, I might just suspend the...

    Inverter help needed

I may have asked this, but is it possible to cut out the inverter and charge directly from the leisure or starter battery? IE 12v to 24v it seems (to me) inefficient to go up to 240v only to come back down and seems to put an extra load on the battery supplying the inverter.

Ha Ha! just what you need on a mobility scooter, although it does have a display it's hard to see. Could it just be bad battery management by the previous owner? and can I do anything about it?
