As far as I am aware the negative on the Old Leisure battery is connected to the chassis plus has some other cables running from it I have connected the negative load of shunt to the Old Leisure battery negative I have connected Positive From new Leisure Battery to Positive on old leisure...

On a slightly different subject, I discovered today that the Venus OS fails over to different wireless networks seamlessly if it loses the connection, so that's good news. On the other hand I am disappointed that no-one in the Victron community answered my Question here
