Do it in sections,middle first using wood either side,leave two days and do the sides,add plastasizer to the mix to help flow.

No way will normal bits drill the inside gage bars on my van as they are stainless steel,only cobalt will do it.

buy cobalt bits which are the best,you can also get 12v drills which can be charged from cigy socket.

200w and 200ah battery bank should be plenty for most vans unless you are planing a mars orbit. :unsure:

AS mine is a smart inverter all above no use,but keeping an eye on fridge with a small temp clock all is well,we bit up on very warm days and inverter works harder,2 -3c always mind you.:)

I did a better job on my van,used standard seats and swivels i altered from a car so will lock forward and back,those staples look like they came of frankenstines neck.

I just earthed mine to the black battery wire which is run to the van body,it should run through the carbon in the tyres to ground,mind you no shock if you dont touch ground,only my fridge uses a smart inverter,and im sure the unit is isolated.

Would a side window not be better for that.

No just looked at fridge,the we box is so small it will do for lollies only but i have not taken a reading as yet,will do so as ment to be -20

Yes small t stat in fridge which is in the blue band about 2c 24/7,mine is never turned of and will run no bother all week on two 90ah batts and 200w solar,winter if i use van it may have to be plugged in at home before we go out.

Mine has been in van a week now and done two runs plus sitting in 34c inside van,works 100% on a nikkai smart soft start 600w inverter.
