    I changed the twin seat for a single one, and fitted a swivel base on the passenger side.

    Lots of 1mm cutting disks did the job, with a little help from a cold chisel.

    Yeah I can’t argue with that. We get 22ish mpg. Unfortunately ours still has a speed limiter fitted so max speed is only 56 mph. That’s the same as lorry’s! Although once the limiter is off I’d expect to have a top speed of 70 mph and cruising speed around 60/65. Which would be plenty for us.

    We did something similar, I build the shower and toilet all in one room then fibreglass the floor as a wet room. It can be any size or shape you want. Darcar

    Well thanks Phil, our van is spot on for us, I’v no plans to change anything really. I love diy/self-build vans as they can be anything you want them to be. I’m going to be starting a new build in the spring with a mate of mine, I think on a sprinter. He wants to ship it to the USA next...

    Just shows that there’s no RIGHT way to have your van, it’s not too my taste but the builders love it. I once went into a Dutch guys van and the interior was completely orange 🍊 ever thing even the fridge door! Darcar

    One day, I’m sure Electric will power not only the habitation area but also the the vehicle. But I don’t think we are there yet! I must admit that I admire wildebus in his commitment to electric, and I’m very interested to see how it goes. As he says it’s not really for the average joe...
