    Compact 12v fridges?

A cheap 230v fridge through a 600w smart inverter will save you some dosh and work well, mine does.

    Leisure batteries

Use the free ones for now, best to use a 230v fridge with a 600w inverter, this because 230v fridges are cheap, but if you have a 12v unit then ok, make sure the solar regulater is a MPPT type and not a PWM old school.

    Used Industrial Solar Panels?

A votronic mppt regulator will take up to 50v, it also has a 1 amp blead to starter battery, depending on total wattage a 250 will cost about £140, there are also others out there, some a bit cheaper.
