Point I was trying to make was the difference in standards. But also it's handy as a guide as to the loading a seat is subjected to if something goes badly wrong.

Fair enough, but asking if they comply may make people doing a conversion think they need to use the seatbelt standard for buses when doing their conversion - and as I said, that is not the required standard to work to (who knows, it may actually be lower than the required standard, or higher, but either way, it is NOT the standard to be used).
