Hi all, hope you’re enjoying the festive season!🎅

We’re looking for a vehicle to get my disabled wife 👩‍🦽 and autistic daughter out into the World if anyone knows of one? 🚍

Besides wheelchair access, we need two separate sleeping areas so big is best, likely a 7.5t.
Have looked at box lorries and horse boxes, now considering a library conversion... 🤔

Happy if mods are needed or part-finished.

Appreciate any leads or advice as we’ve been thinking about this for a while, been saving up and are not getting younger! 😆 👍

Morning Paul,
I can't actually point you at a particular Motorhome but I do recommend that you look at the " Quirky motorhomes " site as there is regularly 7.5 ton vehicles partially or fully built for sale on there, and may have lift facilities included. It's worth keeping an eye on it. Phil.

Mansfield, but regularly visit Birmingham area too.

Ah, we're Bristol and have an ex mobile youth centre that we've adapted for our boy who's in a chair. You could have had a look for ideas.... I don't think we're ready to sell it yet but thought you might want a look.

Thanks for sharing - I’ve only seen a couple of 27 ft libraries so far.
Your 22ft looks much more manageable for parking etc.. wondering about standing height as I’m 6’5’?
Does/did it have disabled access and is that a second bed underneath in the back?
Thanks
Paul

Just a thought, might be worth a chat with Coalition Vans. Sheffield. No idea of costs etc, but always worth a chat.

Im 5.6 being a ulster shrimp, yes you will be ok, just.
She requires 9.6 ft clearance and a bit for tv antenna, but it is flexable.
