Hello campers! I've almost finished fitting my Truma boiler and will be using it for the first time at the end of the month.Im not sure weather this topic has been covered before, but here goes.
which is the most economical way of using it when parked up.Is it best to leave on all the time or switch off and on again in the morning. Its the gas only model and I have a 38L bulk tank.

 Stephen.

I set out to turn ours off when not using it thinking this would be more economical if using it in the evening the water is still quiet warm in the morning. But having said this we have forgotten to turn it off several times and it doesn't seem to use much gas as once it's up to heat it doesn't use much gas keeping it up to temp if not using water

I've got the Trauma 10l and to be honest we only use it when we want a shower, (yeah, once a year wether we need one or not) we boil a kettle for washing and washing up.
What you're asking is similar to "is it cheaper to leave the Central heating on all day in winter?" question. Then the answer is switch off when not in use.
