Resealing Van - The Restoration Revisited

I am left with feeling of utter amazement at your efforts Rae.

Also, seeing the exposed and terrible insides during the strip down processes and the appalling build quality of the original construction, no wonder this type of van construction has always been referred to in self building circles as the "Flimsy".

Rae, this is a good thread to give others the inspiration to do a refit.

A conversation I had with a self builder. I was admiring his workmanship and as the conversation moved on he said "'cause it's aright for you, you've got a jelly mould" I think that's a term of endearment for a monocoque fiberglass body. Just made me think why do I have a jelly mould? Looked at a few of the pictures ................I won't be doing that again.............. well not for a long time.
