I decided I wouldn’t have a control panel, like a CBE one, since I’m doing battery and tank monitoring, and pump control other ways. But I would like to have a remote 12V master on/off switch mounted some distance away from my electrical stuff.
I was thinking of using a suitable automotive relay and then saw this product:
Is this really just a posh relay in a box, or is there something else it does that I’m missing?
I‘m also thinking that if I don’t use something like a CBE panel then I might need to think of battery protection/ low voltage cutoff?
Maybe a panel would be easier!
