So whilst testing the Solar Panel I have also been testing this little Buck Boost 4 Port 5V USB Power Supply I got on EBAY
The USB PSU was £5.99 when I purchased it though.
I have been running a 3 Amp Supply through it today and tested each port which will happily provide 3A and the Supply is stable and at 3A does not get too hot.
As the PSU says max is 5 Amp then I would suspect with all 4 Ports in use then you will get a Max 1.25A which is sufficient nowadays to slow charge most smartphones. At 3 Amps on a single Port it should Fast Charge a Single Smart phone, though having plugged my Galaxy S9 into it then the Fast Charge setting does not come on. It does provide enough to charge though.
Seems like a nice piece of Kit for the price, and the resting draw is 0.265A which could be a little high so best Switched with ignition or seperate switch. I am going to use it in the front of the Merc.
