Muttley’s Build

Excellent, thank you for the link.
Can I ask, what sink have you used in the toilet and does it get in the way of anyone having a shower. I am looking to put in a corner sink but can't decide in which corner it should be located for best accessibility without being in the way.

The sink was from magnums however they appear to have a slightly different one now!! (Just checked) and yes it does get in the way a little though saying that it’s handy to put shampoo etc in! If you have a LWB van then you could make washroom longer! Also we’re never in there that long. Hope this is of some help.
Ken
Ps £20 at Magnums or £11-10 leisureshop direct. Though I’ve never used the later co

Ken I love your plinth you made for the sink, 10 out of 10...

I have the very same Magnums sink in 'Millie', but I bought the plinth they sell for it as well and it was a right royal PITA to fit!

My washroom is across the back of the van between the wheelarches which just allowed me to be able to fit a 400 cassette toilet across one end and the wash hand basin in the corner at the opposite end and we find it leaves us more than enough room to have a decent shower.

Luverly build though Ken.

I had forgotten Muttley was a MWB, you have made an amazing use of the space................... truly well done.
Phil

ps. As for the Newfoundland, we know of one or two other people who have been thinking about adopting one of them and then they learnt about the amazing upkeep as well as the floods of slobber..
Our latest adoption has now been with us for 5 utterly joyous months and I say joyous as she is now finally out of the bone numbing pain she was in when we first adopted her.

Morning Phil
Your forgiven for forgetting 😂 when thinking of building Muttley we thought we’d factored in everything!!! All young adults and partners could use him!! However never thought of future proofing ie (Grandson)
So now thinking of a LWB with rear lounge which will convert into into two 6’ singles or one large double and front seating area that converts to a small double! With belted travelling seats.
Trouble is we are enjoying our travels too much so will probably delay for now.
Pleased to hear the new canine addition is now settling in and out of pain..

Great photos and lovely build! That's the problem with SWB vehicles ( or any I suppose) have to compromise on what can be fitted in! We have had to give up the shower as we wanted two extra belted seats. Missed seeing where you put the table? Is it a removable one between the front seats? Still finalising where ours will go...waiting till end of the build so we can sit and work out best position!

Thank you overall we’re happy with what we have!! Re the table if you look at images 3/5 you can see the table it slides between the end of the nearside bed settee.
Funny thing happened here we made the table though never tried sitting at it!! when we first used it while away we couldn’t get in to sit down. So we bought a cheap jigsaw booked in to a site for EHU and set about radiusing the corners!! Much to the amusement of our fellow campers🤣 we used a dining plate so corners were equal🤔
Take care
Ken
Ps Rec I’ve just added two more images of the table! Hope this helps

Did you get any 'tut-tut's when you started using power tools at the campsite? often wondered what level of building and tweaking is acceptable when at a site.

Love it! Seems we are more sensible than I gave us credit for, waiting to decide about the table! Amazing, no matter how much you think about things, still get caught out! Just added an extra bit to our plans as I realised nowhere to put teatowels, knife magnet and other utensils. Simple addition will make a lot of extra space.

Evening Gary
At the time of building we bought the swivels from outdoorbits.com there cta and to date have proven to be ideal. Just checked price £128~35 not sure if this is still a competitive price however

I was going to ask what kind of picture was on the jigsaw you bought, it drives me mad trying to find all the pieces when doing a jigsaw with lots of clear blue sky ;)
Phil
