Furniture edging strip reimo style.

I am looking for a cheaper alternative to the Reimo style ply edging strip,the type that is like a 'U' shape made from pliable bendable plastic and knocks onto the edge of the ply as opposed to the iron on trim that I don't think is robust enough.There is also a curved section to join two pieces of ply together at right angles again Reimo do it but like all Reimo stuff its expensive but very good!
If anyone knows of an alternative system I would be very unterested
