Just a couple of pics of my build. Had it a year now. Went to France and Spain for two months last summer. All went well and everything worked. 😜

GEOFF

That is a lovely job that you have made, a very professional looking finish. Just a general comment and NOT a criticism, I notice that you have stuffed the internal frames with insulation, something that I always used to do (the wife had the job of poking it all in with a stick!!!). Filling the frames with insulation does NOT stop any cold bridging. Personally I no longer bother doing it. If you really want to eliminate cold bridging of the framework, the insulation needs to be on the habitation side of the van to prevent any cold bridging. Geoff.

Thanks guys. Yes Geoff I did start by filling them up but after reading up on it all a bit more I decided to stop. Also being fed up doing it contributed to stopping. :ROFLMAO:. I did however completely insulate and seal everything on the habitation side. Thought I would never get to the end of insulation and silver stuff. Got there in the end though. Worked well in France and Spain last summer and it was very hot. Thanks for the input. Much appreciated to know. Steve
