Electric setup advice again :-)

Hello campers

my self build before i start wanting advice...

I've bought a consumer unit with a built in battery charger 20a

i no the wires to go from the electric hookup to consumer unit

and the wires to go from consumer unit/charger to the leisure battery..

The consumer unit has many wires so gonna strip them out and start again with the ones i mainly need...

The question is - when wiring up general plug sockets from the unit, is there no way of using the sockets via the battery,
or can these only be used when hooked up ??

How do you guys go on needing the sockets when wilding ?

You could wire a 'mains' socket from your batteries via a pure sine wave inverter to step the voltage up to 240v.

are you happy doing the job? Fry the wife and you could end up eating porridge....but if you are competent then no issues.

Ha Ha .. doesn't sound a bad idea that to be honest

But on a serious note, yes im confident doing the job but will get it all checked over afterwards for my own peace of mind
