Hello!
I am building a camper utility unit in the back of a Ford ranger. The whole contained unit slides out on a platform.
It will have a built in water tank in the main unit and a grey water tank that is mounted below the tailgate of the Truck.
Water tank is supplying gas water heater, sink and shower outlet via a 12v pump (pump states no accumulator needed with this pump).
Outlet of the sink is to the grey water tank.
Water tank: The water tank is 600x500x200mm lying flat. The tank is black plastic. What's the recommended plumbing needed for this?
*a practical fill port to hook a hose up to (1 way so that it doesn't spill out when disconnecting the hose?)
*outlet to pump
*port to drain/empty tank? Or could this be done with the fill port? Or pump it empty?
*some sort of breather out the top with a hose?
*ok not to have an inspection port(ideally i dont want this)?
*is there a cheap easy solution to monitor water level?
Grey water tank: The tank is 900x400x150mm, black plastic, mounted under tailgate.
*inlet from sink (I want to be able to quickly attach/remove a flexible water hose.
*emptying method?
*does it need a big clean out port (ideally I don't want this)?
*some sort of breather tube?
Thanks for your help!
