    Just fitted a double usb charger in the cab for charging phone on the go .I ran a wire from the fuse box on the leisure side so it live all the time .

    Apart from the sevel vans, are any vans wide enough for a full size bed past the ribs

    I had the use of a new jumbo transit and it only measured just above the rear wheel archers 5ft 7 in which is not as wide as the old transit .

    wind out awning I fitted a Fiamma wind out awning when I was fitting out my van and to be quite honest I wish I hadnt bothered. I should have stuck with original idea of glueing an awning rail to the roofline and getting a second hand caravan awning and use just the roof part and three poles...

    when i did my van i lined the van out with 4mm bubblewrap and mean ever where then i put 25 mm kingspan in the roof as well and 50mm on the floor and the doors and sides got 50mm rockwool insulation as well never had a prob in the winter with cold lol.

    I would go with Mr Brown on choice of van as we sleep across the van and have 6ft 1in and they lend them selves to converting very easily I found.
