Water tank, anyone used this company?

Just make sure to use white vinegar, the caramel used to colour malt vinegar stains everything.

    Distribution Board

Unfortunately I have two of them! This is the down side of a long project. You end up not knowing whether your coming or going. I think it might be an idea to look at all that's been purchased. In fact that sounds like a job for Anita, and they could be logged too.

    Not a Self-build, but a Tweaker

My Varta's in Murky loose their volts really quickly, but are still able to deliver current. These were replacements under warrantee. I still have my original set and they are not much worse :(

Split Chargers - B2B & Relays: Which one - or Both?

Forgot about this little devil, it could be the answer to holding up the starter batteries when the multiplus is turned off.

    Not a Self-build, but a Tweaker

I'm 24 volt and with the Betty build I'm doubling up on Murky's capacity. So 4 would get less of a hammering by the multiplus.

    Not a Self-build, but a Tweaker

    Jerry can holder

With the older jerry cans they tend to shed red lead paint, so your funnel needs a good filter. We treat our cans badly, and have found the military ones tougher. I wonder if the stainless jerry cans are made any better?

    Jerry can holder

Just watch out as some of the modern Jerry Cans are so thin they split with the weight of the contents!

    Violating a Princess!

Thanks Steve, It was a temptation, but then I remembered that the RSPCA gets upset if you squash Ducts ;)

    Violating a Princess!

The heating whilst driving is provided by the engine coolant. It's then blown around the coach. Stationary a D4 eberspacher is used for heating the air. I also have a 12kva water eberspacher, so for extra heat if needed I can use the air and water heating together. A simpler version is used...

    Violating a Princess!

Had some more bits turn up today, so I'm able to plan how I'm going to fit the air ducting in Betty's bum! First problem there is structure in the way :( Oh well I'll just have to cut it out. This is going to give me a rather unstable shelf at the end of the floor. The end of the floor...

    Vent Windows

Yes protecting the cut steel is very important, and you don't always know how far the fractures go in the paint. With my windows man he is happy to share his experience and consider my silly ideas. One thing he has introduced me to is the window primer. If you get the right stuff it bonds to...

Do I temper my spend or not?

I think if I looked at a van filled with "Trevor Specials" I'd assume it had been built on a tight budget and would have hidden horrors waiting to haunt me. (sorry Trev ;) ) When I read of people stripping out goodies to sell a van, I just think, standard van damaged filled with stuff to take...

    Violating a Princess!

I think we have all been there. We know what we should do, but convincing ourselves that there are easier options. 90% of the trim looked very good, fooling me into thinking about trying to save it. From day 1 it wanted gutting. Tears will dry up, and the later smiles will wipe away the...
