Just to illustrate how very durable these 25mm thick sheets of foil faced closed cell foam is, over the past 6 years I have been using a quite large piece of it to use as an insulation between me and the floor, be that smooth concrete, gravel, soil or grass and it is still almost like new...

Phil; does that foam force/push under the Heki once it is in-place or do you lay it in place then clamp the rooflight down? I presume it is some kind of closed cell foam, or is it something else and quite magical, because if it works it could be the answer to the needs of the self builder. Phil
