As suggested above, lets concentrate on this site and not fall into the trap of rubbishing other sites, we are above that.

Obviously, you are all free to use whichever forums that you wish too.

We have all put a lot of effort into this forum and at the moment it is just finding its feet.

What I can tell you is that I will be giving the same amount of passion to this forum as I do to Motorhomer and Wild Camping. I have now started to negotiate discounts with suppliers that cover all three websites and later this year we will have a discounts section.

In the future, I hope to have a Motorhome Builder enclosure at the Motorhomer rallies so that the members can meet up.

Chris (Edina) is really working hard on this forum and I am so grateful to him for helping me with the workload.

Phil I dont think there is much doubt that those that are on here now will not leave on a whim that an old site may or may not have re started, I feel that much of the bon homie that existed before has now re installed its self in the new home you have provided and I'm certain that I hav'nt spoken out of turn on behalf of our merry members on here. I hope that this site will become the premier site to be associated with in the very short future. Phil 🤗

I'm glad to see it back as I liked the site :)

I like it here as well and have gained great information (especially from @wildebus for the help on his fridge setup that I am hugely grateful for) and I'm more than happy to pay for Wilcamping and Motorhomefun as also both worth way more than the tiny subscription fees.

Combined, with the other paid for self-build site that I'm also a member of (am I allowed to mention other sites here? for what it's worth I've just mentioned this site on DIY), there's an amazing choice now of free and paid for sites that offer all the knowledge and expertise needed to build great vans. I'm very grateful to all :)

I think I must be missing something obvious here ? (likely :) )

I can;'t see anything it that post that says I can or can't mention other places?

For what it's worth, I posted on the other site the full website address for both here and Wildcamping (as I know it's allowed). Am I allowed to do the same here or is it like the other site I didn't say by name (as they don't allow it I don't see why they should have their name mentioned elsewhere).

Not bothered either way, just not sure what the ruling is here as haven't been around forums much in the lat 6 months?

You and me alike Phil.

Just like I did with the other place, I am at it every single day spreading the word of this well managed place.

When we catch a business who might be interested in giving a discount to our membership is it Chris or the great one himself that we pass the information to?

OH and whilst on about discounts, might it be something to give consideration to if we all have membership numbers?

Phil of the McD variety
