    Vent Windows

Bonded single glazed windows are not really a problem just buy a Karcher Window Vac, it solves the condensation and cleans your window too!

When it comes to van you converted, what was your worst decision?

I have a white van, but the problem is, there are hundreds of different colours of white. In the sunshine from the side of our van there are 4 different shades of white from where repairs have been made in the past.

    What size fuse?

Finally got the time in the dry to sort this. I have connected a 10amp fuse for each side and it is working a treat, even using both windows at the same time. Thanks for all your help

    What size fuse?

I think that is a good idea, I will amend the wiring to include a fuse for each motor, will start with a 10a fuse on each. Just waiting for a window in the weather now.

    What size fuse?

The wiring is all in place now through the existing bellows, I just have the one red wire to hook up to the fuse box, I think the idea of fusing each motor separately is a good idea, I will look at how easy that is to do. Cheers

    What size fuse?

Hi Wildebus. Thanks for your help, I may start with a 10a fuse and if it blows increase the size. I will look at incorporating the original fuse box, that seems a sensible idea. It does seem strange they don't provide a fuse in the set up.

    What size fuse?

Hi It is difficult to tell, there is not much information given on the technical side of things. It is this kit https://travelinlite-transporters.co.uk/collections/t5/products/t5-electric-window-kit Although I didn't pay that for it! Not sure if this helps

    What size fuse?

Hi. I am installing aftermarket electric windows in my VW T5, it comes as a full kit which is all in place now, I am just about to connect the power lead which was not fused so I have got an inline fuse holder, but just deciding what size fuse should go in it. It powers the 2 front motors for...

    Camper tyres

I use van tyres too. I am sure a van full of parcels etc weighs heavier than a conversion.

I am sorry Darren your thread got a bit hijacked. Good luck with the repairs and happy travels in your van.

It must be my eyesight it should be M (11mm gap) H (11mm gap) 0 (11mm gap) 4 (33mm gap) S (11mm gap U (11mm gap) N To me it looks like there is a 33mm gap between the H and 0 and the 4 and S. I'm not sure why some people have to be so rude, especially when they don't know who they are...

Nice looking van, shame about the illegal number plates, the lettering/numbering are wrongly spaced. I am surprised it gets through the MOT like that,
