We started with a 40l Waeco fridge freezer ...in the transit I built ...
Then moved that into the motorhome when we bought it to use as a beer fridge/freezer for longer trips ....
Then I got fed up with the pfaff of the 3 way absorbtion antique (belongs with gas lights and mantle IMHO )...
Fingers burned many times in my early days buying LED torches for exploring old mines ....
Chinese lumens don't equal real lumens !
Same with Chinese Watts, amps, etc etc lol
Knowing the base vehicle will probably help anyone trying to help ....
Ie what the motorhome is built on ....likely the base platform will have some wiring diagrams out there .
"Smart" or eco mode inverters will sit in a low consumption stand by mode ...
Until something demands mains current (like the fridge compressor starting up )
Just minimises power consumption when not needed .
Agreed ....
Check gas supply
Could be out of gas/blocked regulator (not unusual in low temps to have water freeze in the regulator )
Turn gas off and reset and try electric oprion ?
Air Outlet/inlet sizes also often vary between same kW rated units ....
Usually between @75mm and @90mm ...
75mm can lead to overheat faults if ducting runs are too long ...
In my experience the @75mm is a hangover from 2kw models ...
As soon as you go to 5/8kw models the 75mm is too small...
As I said IF you could get around the delivery/taxes ...
This could be a bargain

IF I was to kit another van out ...I'd deff treat myself though as I reckon they are a...
General concensus in the trade seems to be they are cheap and cheerful ...
BUT basically crap .
Even our local independent pug specialist says if you want reliable buy a sprinter ...
The ecu expert I was at on Friday said exactly the same thing ...
Buy cheap ~ buy twice .
So experienced they decided on a ex DPD van ....
Pretty much every DPD van I've ever seen has been driven like it had been stolen by a knuckle dragging smoothbrained neanderthal .
I think the use of anything with hammerite on it will likely be the least of any issues .
That's why it shows 4 of them ....
And the tabs to connect them .
I wouldn't worry ...
your not going to be buying them until they stick a Linux or Skoda sticker on them are you ?
