Good thing to read. If a heater has been over primed or not burning properly, and diesel has collected in the exhaust, it's going to smoke!

Must admit Rae, I never sleep with heat on, I have done in the past but always felt a little off in the morning. So now in the morning out of bed, turn heater on, back into bed and enjoy the warming of of the van, then get up for the first coffee of the day. The simple pleasures of van life...

I've used 16mmsq, but my cable runs are very short ( less than a metre ) and I invested in a hydraulic crimper, what a difference it makes!
