I have just spotted the following post put up by @rugbyken on the sister site Motorhomer and I thought this French supplier might be of use to some of you:-

Rugbykens post: "I had such a job sourcing a large box for my motorhome when I saw a german van come in to this aire with a big box I asked who had made it he furnished me with a buisiness card for sawiko www.sawiko.fr, obviously a french company although not solely motorhome based they have a lot of useful accessories from chassis extensions for towbars & self levelling systems suspension boosters to full systems and of course boxes, there is a full catalogue on the website."

I’m building one for our van, I had, intended to fit a motor scooter rack, now we’ve changed our mind and I’m going to fit a box on the rear instead.

It’s made from the aluminium chequer plate, that covered the van floor when I got the van. I’v used aluminium angle for the frame. Bolts to a chassis extension I’v made. I’ll add some pictures with it’s finished.
