On EBAY there are some Victron Colour Control wall mount units pretty cheap, on offer.
I offered £12 plus p&p which was pretty much immediately accepted so you might be able to get it cheaper. £15 total, think Retail they are plus £25

A good find :) I 3D-Printed one for the BMV, but it wasn't brilliant. Just bought a pair of them from that chap (y)

Yeah, glad you found it helpful.
Been trying to get a raspberry Pi sorted, then realised the Pi's I have are not recent enough to run the Venus OS - Silly Me !! :devilish:
So whilst trawling for a Pi I found this which is also a good deal I think, but if you know of anywhere cheaper I could get one then that would help?

That's a very good price! I paid more for the last one I bought.
I would suggest you get a heatsink kit if you intend to leave it on 24/7 - I use these .... https://amzn.to/2ngSg1Z
Also need a USB outlet with a higher current capability than the typical 2.1A from a USB socket - something like this ... https://amzn.to/2lMEl38 (that is the kind of device, but the price is very high in that link - look for a better deal)
(PS. you may be tempted by a screen to mount on the Pi? don't bother unless you really really like tinkering and know linux programming well)

Thanks for the links
I just found a DC-DC converter pretty much the same as the one in the Amazon link for significantly less
https://www.banggood.com/12V-To-5V-...th-USB-Output-Power-Adapter-15W-p-937209.html
So might get a couple of them, multiples offer more discount
Could use another one to power the Echo As well, also I got myself a cheap Amazon SmartPlug (£9.99) so thinking of sticking that into the Mix too.

Most of the stuff is hidden and I expect the Pi will be too so a screen won;t be necessary and I can just SSH to it

Amazon Echo is either 12V or 15V depending on the model - I would use a regulator even on the 12V one as they are designed for a proper steady supply, not a motorhome "12V" supply that fluctates between 11.5V and 15V.

What sort of Regulator, please ?
TIA

I use this one - https://amzn.to/2njvk2b

I like this one over the more basic ones as it has a built-in display that makes it easy to check both the voltage you have set it at and both the current limit set and the current being drawn.
I used it with the Echo running at 15V and then when I changed to the Echo Spot (and then Echo Show!) I just dropped it to 12V.

Hope you get something back as looks like an Amazon Affiliate Link ;)
Just bought one from your link

Thanks for the help again (y)

sometimes there is, sometimes there isn't :)
For these kind of things, I find making a box out of lego pieces is often a lot cheaper than buying an ABS box

Great Idea (y) I was wondering what I would use to mount it
Also need to tidy where I have the battery / control / Inverter and all as it's getting messier. Just going to use BMV via BT for now
