  1. Water Pump cutting in and out

The pressure switch on the pump is adjustable for what point it cuts in/out.
  2. HELP PLEASE: Lights via Two Alternate Power Sources

You could just use diodes after all of the switches. The small voltage drop might actually be beneficial to your lights. I.e. they say 12V but you'll have c.14v. Switch A to anode of one diode. Switch B to anode of another diode. Join the cathodes and wire to light.
  3. Low solar panel yield

Solar is rubbish in the winter, depending on where you are. I take it the panels are fitted flat? Tilting makes a decent difference...
  4. Well I’ve gone & bought our next van.. although it’s not a van yet!

Nice. Can you just clad the inside of the door with insulation?
  5. Strange 3 way fridge 12 volt electrical problem

It sounds like the split charge relay and the fridge relay are fed from a common point, but this isn't actually connected to the battery. So you have a link from the leisure battery to the fridge 12V.
  6. Well I’ve gone & bought our next van.. although it’s not a van yet!

Looks like the toilet just drops out the bottom of the van lol. Looking good 👍
  7. HTF's campervan build

What is the current draw when the van is just sat with all of the systems on but not being used? PLC/inverter/router etc. All that stuff, what does it add up to?
  8. HTF's campervan build

The hinges are particularly clever! All looks really good, thanks for sharing.
  9. 240V for everything!

My 240V fridge uses something like 100Ah per day. So the fridge alone will see you struggling after 3 days. Cooking uses vastly more.... A 300W panel in ideal conditions won't provide for the fridge, never mind cooking. Use gas.
  10. The Bus is for sale

    I'm not surprised, it's a great truck. Nice :)
  11. Emergency leak stopper?

    Reviews don't look great.
  12. 280ah lithium battery only showing 273.4ah?

Have you?? Where was that??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  13. Well I’ve gone & bought our next van.. although it’s not a van yet!

    https://www.accordionboot.com/#wideaccordion Works well 👍
  14. TANKLESS WATR HEATER

And how many cubic metres was your kitchen? And a van? The one I have (morco) says in the instructions it must be in it's own vented externally compartment.
  15. Yikes - new battery price

That seems backward. It would make more sense to load the alternator on overrun/braking to make it more fuel efficient.
  16. Connections for tap

Yes, same as John guest speedfit. You need to push the collar into the fitting side pull the pipe at the same time. Twisting may help.
  17. Trickle Charging a 24V vehicle

    Cool. Also using an Orion
  18. Fuses

Yes, but this seems to be a pre-wired thing. He said he cut the plug off.
  19. Fuses

5A will be fine, assuming the cable is thick enough. 300w at 12V, with no losses, is 25A. What you really need to look at is what fuse the inverter instructions say it should have. Or somewhere on the case/plug you cut off. Even the old fuse will have a rating on it.
  20. Shower fan/vent

Small opening skylight in the bathroom - raise the solar a little if required. We had that in a small van and that was usually enough. If not, leave the door open and set the fan you have to bring air into the van with everything shut. That air and the steam, should go out of the skylight.
