    Drop Down Double Bed

We are seriously think of converting a panel van but it would have to have 2 X double beds. I`m thinking one transverse at the rear with storage and or water tank and or gas locker etc. underneath it and a drop down one over the lounge at the front. Is there a reliable mechanism out there to...

    Sikaflex

I`ve only ever used Sikaflex 512 and try to leave it a good 48 hours before moving, ideally fit friday and don`t move until monday at the earliest :hammer: I also loosely cover overnight especially if a heavy dew is forecast for the first couple of days :scared:

    Garage Bed

I got around the problem with the Honda EU10i by buying a box with lid from B&Q and then putting some sealing foam strip around the lid where it sits on the box. I then used 2 luggage straps to pull the lid down tight onto the box, this stopped all the fumes when stored in the garage.

    Garage Bed

Possibly, i used my experience with the generator to show what happened with the petrol fumes even with the filler cap in the off position which is supposedly sealed. I kept it like new and it was spotless so it wasn`t like the dirty old oily smelly ones you see. When the genny was outside we...

    Garage Bed

I have a Compass Castaway 500LL that has an electric transverse bed at the rear over the garage. The biggest problem is that any fumes / odours in the garage come straight up and into the habitation area via the gaps around the edges of the bed. I used to use a Honda generator and even with...

    Mini trailer camper

Several years back at the Elvaston Steam Rally Elvaston Steam Rally - Home a whole corner of one of the camping fields was reserved for them. There must have been 50+ with some very clever and weird designs :rolleyes2: The owners were more than willing to discuss the builds and show...

Citroen relay 2.2 diesel 2003, 116.000 miles. Worth converting?

Change oil and filters regular and it will be fine, they are built to handle that and more. As has already been said my concern would be the bodywork / chassis.
