  1. For Victron OS systems - Ruuvi Sensors

Ha ha I don't even know what Node-Red is... I will have a look at it though!
  2. For Victron OS systems - Ruuvi Sensors

I would like one. Although, it would be most useful to me if I could get the data up into the cloud to notify me if the dog is overcooked or just at medium rare when he is in the van ;) No Victron kit here and the Ruuvi gateway is mighty expensive!
  3. Two power sources, one LED light 🤔

Thanks so much Dave. Exactly what I needed. Will order a relay now and let you know how I get on. Thanks Chris
  4. Two power sources, one LED light 🤔

Makes sense to me. Thanks for this. Can you link me to a suitable relay please? Had a quick look on Amazon but I'm finding it a bit confusing if I'm honest. Thanks Chris
  5. Two power sources, one LED light 🤔

So I am installing a drip led light above the sliding door today. Basically the type of drip channel that stops you getting a shower every time you open the sliding door in wet weather. It also has a smart LED strip built into it. To wire it, I want to take a feed from the existing van...
  6. Two conductors one flexible conduit

Yes they will all be foamed into position in between insulation board. Glad to hear this. Don't relish the thought of pulling them back out much 👍
  7. Two conductors one flexible conduit

Sounds wise and will give me peace of mind!
  8. Two conductors one flexible conduit

Pulling cables and conduit in the van at the moment. Something about putting 8.5mm positive and negative thinwall cable into a 20mm flexible conduit run of about 7 metres makes me feel uneasy. Obviously it will be appropriately fused, but still. Anybody know what the guidance/General feeling...
  9. AMT12-2 Advice needed

I can recommend the AMT 12. It's pulsing away nicely to my starter battery when on mains hookup or solar to my lithium leisure battery bank. Works a treat and keeps my starter battery up at 12.8v constantly. Order it from wildebus and you get the interconnects bundled in with some nice colour...
  10. Protecting Lithium batteries from charging at low temperature.

Redarc can apparently supply a different battery temperature sensor with a a lower setpoint pre programmed. I read an article where the manager 30 was used on a polar expedition with air temperatures never expected to rise above zero even in the daytime. The batteries were mounted in an outer...
  11. Protecting Lithium batteries from charging at low temperature.

Yes you can still draw power out but my charger completely cuts any charging below zero deg c. Pretty sure it charges at a lower rate between 5deg and 0deg as well.
  12. Protecting Lithium batteries from charging at low temperature.

Yep, protection definitely needed here last night... I woke up to these messages this morning.Brrrr.
  13. Ducato rear lounge/bed cushions

They could indeed but I thought they were too nice of a set to start chopping about. Once I put the tape measure on our van I realised I would only be able to make use of the cushions in the foreground of the image. Best left for someone who can make use of the complete set as designed imo.
  14. Ducato rear lounge/bed cushions

They really do. I only wish I could make them work for me.
  15. Ducato rear lounge/bed cushions

Still available! Lovely set. Width is good for us but just too long in the length for our build.
