Renault Master plastic side trims.... how do you remove them?

The side trims on a Renault Master (etc. etc.) which run at hub level on both sides of the van between the wheelarches, does anyone know how to remove them without breaking all the hidden plastic clips ????

My reason for wanting to remove them is because I spotted a small area of the dreaded tin munching monster in the area immediately between two of the body panels directly in front of the NS rear wheel arch.
I unscred the two fixing screws only to discover that the darned trim is also held in place by locating clips the first one of which shattered as soon as I put any pressure onto it.

Many thanks one and all

I don't have any specific knowledge on the renault clips, but I think maybe they slide on and off, like a long strip? What is worth doing maybe is trying to warm them up as much as possible to make as pliable as you can. maybe wash the area in as hot a water as you can handle?
A long-handled trim removal tool might be handy so you can really get behind at a lesser angle (if that makes sense?).
End of the day, a lot of these plastic clips are single-use though and cannot be removed without breaking, so you might need to get a bag of new ones ....

Hi Phil the side trims do slide off once you have removed the two screws. Can't remember which way though.
