just had two nights in peak district walking ,snowing when walking round Ladybower and over Wyn hill really cold at night got to do a rethink about heating van

Did you get the eber running okay? We have a LWB Master (mini bus) and our eber keeps it really warm.

hi ya mate not running yet but friend of a friend supposed to be having a look at it i have had a read of manual that was put on resources was using electric fan heater but it just not putting enough heat out

It's worth getting it sorted cos they are great heaters - good luck with it (y)

Mine was running off the engine battery when I got the mini bus; I have since changed it to the LBs. If yours is the same, it might be worth trying to start it with the engine running if you haven't already?

It's funny how these heaters of ours all seem to have their temperamental aspects

Mine is a Propex and I can guarantee that every time I initially turn it on after a longish period of inactivity it won't work! However a quick hard blow up the heater burners air inlet pipe with air from a high pressure hose, or a suck with the vacuum from the heaters exhaust hose always clears the problem.
When away from home on a remote CL or 'wilding', the small but powerful Black & Decker vacuum cleaner I carry in 'Millie' has a pipe which is a perfect fit for the heaters exhaust pipe and so a quick 15 second suck soon has the heater working perfectly! :)

Brilliant sunshine, so had a tootle to Exmouth. They've still got the storm boards in place after the recent 'blow', but there is sand on the road in places.
Only one ice cream shop open

I went looking at a couple of properties today, but neither of them was anywhere near suitable for us... It would be a good thing if estate agents gave details which were one whole load closer to the truth!
Yep its funny how words mean different things, quaint means very old, cosy is not able to swing a cat in the rooms, and requires some upgrades means no heating or running water.

They all seem to using stretched photos in their sales literature and on-line ads which give the impression of the rooms being much bigger than they are. Good luck with your search. I am also looking for a property, somewhere between the border region and Inverness so plenty to choose from.

Off to the Weatherspoons pub in Melton Mowbray for a lunch time meet up with some of the family today......... Brilliant value for a large and excellent plate of high quality fish and chips which includes a pint of an excellent draft beer and all for just £7.20.

At these prices and at the always guaranteed quality it is no wonder that this pub chains pubs are always so busy!
